Social Media Coordinator

Art For Action is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a lasting impact through artistic expression. To accomplish our goals, we have established a collaborative community of talented, service-driven individuals who utilize their artistic abilities to benefit society. Through the sale of artwork, corporate sponsorships, and generous donor contributions, Art For Action leads direct programs and supports charitable initiatives in the fields of cancer research & patient care, childhood education, global health, and more.

Art For Action is seeking to add a Social Media Coordinator to enhance our organization’s digital presence and grow our social media followings.

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for producing engaging digital content, managing targeting campaigns, regularly posting to Art For Action’s social media accounts, and communicating with potential partners / sponsors via social media.

Responsibilities:

• Research target audience and discover current trends

• Plan and execute all social media campaigns

• Grow social media account followings

• Create engaging digital content (e.g. social media posts, videos, blogs, etc.)

• Measure and report performance of all social media campaigns (ROI and KPIs)

• Enhance our social media / online presence to boost brand awareness

• Suggest and implement new social media strategies to increase fundraising efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred

• 3+ years of related social media / digital marketing experience

• Prior experience managing social media platforms and social media management tools

• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube

• Experience with Canva is a plus

• Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills

• Independent thinker with a desire to implement their own ideas / strategies and execute on a vision for the organization
