Beth Trevvett Memorial Cancer Fund
“Live every day to the fullest, because each one is a gift all in its own.”
The Beth Trevvett Memorial Cancer Fund was founded in honor of Beth G. Trevvett, a three-time cancer patient and proud supporter of Art For Action.
At age 25, Beth was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She survived her first battle with cancer and became an active supporter in the cancer community — raising awareness, leading fundraisers, advocating for research & new treatments, and providing support and care to others fighting their own battles.
Nearly two decades after her first bout, Beth was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She beat the odds once again, making her a two-time survivor. Her efforts in the community only heightened, dedicating a significant portion of her life to helping those affected by various forms of cancer through her charitable acts and endless compassion.
She served on the Board of Directors of the New York State and Ontario County chapters of the American Cancer Society, organized multiple Relay For Life events, and ran support groups for cancer patients, survivors, and accompanying family members.
After 18 years in remission, Beth entered her third campaign, this time with an aggressive form of cancer that metastasized to her bones, glands, and skin. A fighter until the end, Beth passed at the age of 62.
In dedication to her memory and in continuation of her efforts, the Beth Trevvett Memorial Cancer Fund embodies the determined spirit and altruistic nature of its honoree to:
Fund research in pursuit of new treatment & cure technologies
Cover treatment costs for cancer patients unable to afford them
Provide support and related services to the families and loved ones of those battling cancer
Make a donation.
